October School Holidays + update!

As you may know the pool is normally closed from end of September until next April for the winter months.
Jan Gill (our 'go to person' who lives on-site year-round) contacted the President recently and has requested it remain open for at least another month to accommodate kids school holidays at the end of October. She doesn't need it for herself but kindly has stepped in to see if she can help everyone out who has kids (she's a bit of a star!!).
Jan put forward the argument that it wouldn't have to be cleaned like normal (the cost of cleaning the pool is the main reason for it closing) and simply asked that the pool wasn't covered so that everyone could still enjoy using the pool if they wanted to.
The President agreed with Jan and promised to discuss it with the other presidents so it's not 'done and dusted' by any means.
So...... watch this space!
UPDATE - GREEN LIGHT!!: The Presidents have agreed that the main swimming pool can remain open to accommodate October half term. Well done Jan for requesting this - and thanks of course to all of the Presidents for meeting up to agree to this.
